CBRN & Biohazard Preparedness
Detection, containment, and response to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats
The CBRN & Biohazard Preparedness program provides comprehensive training in the detection, containment, and response to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. This specialized program develops the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage CBRN incidents and protect both responders and the public.
Designed for emergency responders, security professionals, and public health officials, this intensive 5-week program combines scientific principles with practical field techniques to prepare participants for the unique challenges of CBRN incidents. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on training with advanced detection equipment, personal protective systems, and decontamination technologies.
CBRN Response Operations
Advanced training in detection, protection, and decontamination
Program Overview
This program addresses the full spectrum of CBRN threats, from industrial accidents to deliberate releases. Participants will develop proficiency in threat assessment, detection technologies, protective equipment, decontamination procedures, and incident management. The curriculum balances theoretical knowledge with extensive practical exercises in realistic scenarios.
The training emphasizes an all-hazards approach while providing specialized knowledge for each CBRN category. Participants will learn to integrate scientific understanding with operational procedures to effectively manage complex incidents with potentially catastrophic consequences.
